Budweiser: Dream On

A story of passion and ambition on the path to the American Dream, created in partnership with 21-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Jay-Z.

Challenge: In the Summer of 2017, Budweiser (re)released the America can, putting America back in the hands of its drinkers. The mission: become the beer of action and inspire drinkers to pursue their American Dream.

Solution: In "DREAM. ON." Budweiser and Jay-Z proudly partnered to re-invigorate the American Dream with a new voice. The piece used Jay’s story as an example of what is possible with ambition and determination. Jay’s story illuminated a shared set of values and reminded viewers that destiny, and the new American Dream, reside in their hands – something Budweiser has known since 1876.

Program Highlights: “DREAM. ON” took home a Bronze in the Social & Influencer category at the Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity. The Social and Influencer Lions celebrate creative social thinking and strategic influencer marketing solutions. Entries demonstrate how levels of engagement, social reach and the creative use of social networks & platforms, brand ambassadors and influencers led to commercial success.
